AP Grades

I just got my Advanced Placement Grades in the mail today. This past 2008-09 school, I took two AP courses: AP European History and AP Calculus BC. Since then, I have been eagerly awaiting my results. My teachers said they'd come mid-July. This is quite a bit longer than I would think, seeing as I took the tests on 9 May and 7 May, respectively. I had no idea when they'd come, but I started seeing reports on Facebook of my peers having received their grades, so I figured they'd be here soon. Sure enough, they got here today. I nervously opened the envelope, knowing that the result inside could destroy me if poor. I opened the paper, and it had fives on both tests! I was not expecting a 5 on AP Euro. I figured I was pretty much guaranteed a passing result, but I certainly didn't think I had much of a chance at getting the top score. On Calculus, however, I would've broken down into tears at any result other than a 5, seeing as my school's math program is quite top notch, with around 75% of BC students getting a 5 in an average year.

I'm just really happy with my results. My 5 on AP Euro made my day. I'm shocked and pleased simultaneously, as I did not expect this result at all.
